FAMILY BULLETIN

Parent meeting: thank you & presentation+

Thank you to the families who attended our parent meeting. A strong partnership between coaches, players, and families makes our program better. Review the presentation ↗ and send questions through SportsYou.

Rank One: all forms must be submitted and verified+

All student-athletes must have their Rank One forms completed and verified before participating in Friday’s game. Please complete any outstanding paperwork as soon as possible. Open the parent portal ↗. Questions about an individual athlete’s status should be handled through SportsYou.

Team photos & varsity individual banners+

Team and individual pictures are complete. Photo links were sent by text and email to the contacts provided at registration. If you have not received your link, contact Bailey Christian Studio at 210-825-4111.

Varsity individual banners cost $75. The order deadline is November 6. Enter the athlete’s name exactly as it should appear and include the jersey number. A proof will be sent for approval, and banners will be delivered to school. Orders after November 6 incur a late fee and shipping costs and may miss the first home game. Order a varsity banner ↗.

Game day & long sleeve shirt payments+

Short sleeve game day shirts and long sleeve travel/pregame shirts have been ordered. Cost: $29 per athlete. CashApp payments total $30, including the $1 processing fee. CashApp: $Bathleticbooster25. Please submit payment as soon as possible.

Vertical Raise: everyone participates+

Please help your athlete send her fundraiser link to at least 20 contacts, share it on social media, and follow up with family and friends. Contributions support opportunities and experiences for our student-athletes. View the fundraiser flyer ↗.

Help document our season+

Send action shots, team photos, travel photos, fan photos, and special moments through SportsYou. These memories will help us create the 2026–27 end-of-season presentation. Please also make sure athletes and parents/guardians are connected to the appropriate SportsYou groups.

GAME DAY / THE LADY BULLDOG WAY

CHEER WITH PRIDE.
LEAD WITH CLASS.

SPECTATOR REMINDER · TEXAS SB 2929

For school district- or UIL-sponsored or sanctioned athletic events, referees and other game officials may eject a spectator for inappropriate behavior without first giving a verbal warning. Please help keep our games positive and respectful for every athlete, family, and official.

Read SB 2929 · Texas Education Code §37.105(a-1) ↗

IN THE STANDS

  • Cheer for our team—not against the other team.
  • Respect officials, opponents, coaches, and every athlete.
  • Let players play, coaches coach, and officials officiate.
  • Celebrate effort, teamwork, growth, and positive responses.
  • Represent Burbank with pride, in person and online.

ON THE RIDE HOME

Give your athlete space to decompress. Listen when she is ready. Keep your support steady, regardless of the score or her playing time.

“I love you, and I enjoyed watching you play.”

Wait 24 hours after games before raising competition or playing-time concerns. Report urgent health, safety, or well-being concerns immediately.

FAMILIES MAKE THE TEAM BETTER

HELP FUEL
THE LADY BULLDOGS.

We are looking for parents and guardians to help organize team meals and snacks on game days. A little coordination can make a big difference for our athletes.

WAYS TO HELP

  • Serve as a parent meal or snack coordinator.
  • Help organize family contributions and pickup or delivery.
  • Help identify local businesses interested in sponsoring a team meal.
  • Pitch in when you can—every contribution is appreciated.

Please coordinate plans, timing, and food needs with the coaching staff before arranging a meal.

I’D LIKE TO HELP ↗Email Coach Brown · tbrown10@saisd.net
Let us know whether you can coordinate, contribute, or help find a sponsor.
01 / COMMUNICATION

ATHLETE FIRST.

Players initiate conversations about their role and development. Families stay informed through SportsYou and the weekly team newsletter.

02 / PERSPECTIVE

THE 24-HOUR RULE.

Wait 24 hours after games before raising competition or playing-time concerns. Urgent health, safety, and well-being concerns should be reported immediately.

03 / THE PRIORITY

STUDENT FIRST.

Academics come first. Our goals: 100% Honor Roll, a team GPA of at least 3.0, and team attendance of at least 90%.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

How is playing time determined?+

Playing time is earned through program investment, attitude, effort, skill level, and the ways an athlete impacts the team. Every athlete will be developed; playing time is not guaranteed.

When will coaches respond?+

Our goal is to respond within 24 hours on school days. Messages after 8 PM are generally answered the next day; weekend messages may be answered Monday. Games and travel can delay replies.

Are there practices and games during school breaks?+

Yes. The program practices and plays over Thanksgiving and Winter Break. Check SportsYou for the current schedule.

How can parents support the program?+

Support every athlete, model sportsmanship, encourage responsibility, and celebrate growth. Cheer for our team and help us make the program better.
